Customer Service
100% Quality Guarantee!
We stand behind and guarantee all products we sell. Period.
Return defective merchandise to us, at any time, or tell us if our service is less than 100% satisfactory. Your very best baking is our top priority! You can reach us via e-mail or by calling us at 800 827 6836.
We're proud of the baking knowledge we share, the products we sell, and the friendly service we offer. If, as sometimes happens, a product malfunctions, please check the manufacturer's warranty, and contact the manufacturer directly. This saves you the time and effort of going through us first. If, however, you've contacted the manufacturer and aren't satisfied with their response, let us know. We'll work with you to solve the problem.
How we select our products
When selecting products, we don't just read about them in a vendor's catalog. We bake with them. We take things home. We put samples of scone mixes in our company lunchroom. We run spatulas through the dishwasher, soak bread pans in the sink, don't follow the directions that come with the timer, drop measuring cups on the floor — in short, all of the things you're likely to do in your kitchen at home. If the product passes our tests, and if it's available at a fair price, then we consider selling it on this site.
What we avoid at all costs is cheap stuff. Inexpensive, OK; but cheap, no. Pans that bend, finishes that flake, and handles that break will never make it onto King Arthur's Catalogue, no matter what kind of good deal we're offered on them.
Our formula for success
King Arthur has been providing America's bakers with the finest-quality flours and baking ingredients since 1790. Our formula for success? Find the best merchandise, price it fairly, advertise it in a straightforward manner, and treat our customers as we'd like to be treated ourselves. Hey, it's worked for over 220 years; why fool with a good thing? We have a sign on the wall for everyone to see here at our offices in Vermont. It reads, "Quality lingers on, long after the price is forgotten." That's the truth. That's King Arthur.
