Chocolate Chip Snickerdoodle Cake
This incredibly quick and simple cake from Yossy Arefi’s cookbook Snacking Bakes gets its snickerdoodle flavor from cinnamon sugar, which lines the pan and tops the batter, as well as sour cream, which adds a touch of welcome tang. Yossy adds chocolate chips because, “well, what isn’t better with a little bit of chocolate?” You can sprinkle a couple more tablespoons of chips on top of the batter before sprinkling the snickerdoodle cake with cinnamon sugar for even more chocolate flavor, if you like.
