Thank you for sharing this story! My husband and I farm about an hour north of Salina, KS on his family farm. He is a 5th generation farmer. His family homesteaded here in the late 1800’s. Farming is a tough business that takes a tremendous amount of faith and knowledge to be successful. I learn new things about farming and caring for our land and animals from him all the time and he learns more about what the end product produces through my love of baking and cooking! Thank you for helping with my journey to better baking! You should stop by the farm the next time you’re in Kansas!
