Prior to creating Queen of Flavor, she received her culinary education from Johnson \u0026amp; Wales University in Providence, RI, and has studied abroad in Ireland, Australia, and China to enhance her culinary skills.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EA creative force in the kitchen, from 2008 to 2013, Lasheeda devoted her talents to many of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts best performing high-profile culinary teams \u2014 in Dallas, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Palo Alto, and Hawaii \u2014 while working her way up through the kitchen ranks. In 2013, Perry served as Executive Pastry Chef for Bon App\u00e9tit Management Company, overseeing a team that produced more than 3,000 desserts daily. In 2016, Lasheeda was asked to rejoin the Four Seasons family. First in Atlanta then at Beverly Wilshire, a grand luxury Four Seasons Hotel located in Beverly Hills, California.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ELasheeda has received numerous awards and accolades during her career. In 2018, she was a finalist on \u003Cem\u003EFood Network Best Baker in America\u003C\/em\u003E, Season 2 where she was crowned the \u201cQueen of Flavor\u201d. Perry also co-authored \u003Cem\u003EThe Matcha Miracle: Boost Energy, Focus, and Health with Green Tea Powder \u003C\/em\u003Eand was featured in \u003Cem\u003EToques in Black,\u003C\/em\u003E a cookbook that celebrates outstanding black chefs. In 2019, she started teaching fun-filled pastry classes on Food Network Kitchen App. Last year, Lasheeda was a featured guest on the Netflix animated series, Ada Twist.\u0026nbsp; To finish off 2021, Lasheeda appeared on Beat Bobby Flay, where she beat the iron chef in his own kitchen!\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EWhen not surpassing expectations in the kitchen, Lasheeda can be found listening to her favorite songs, grilling whole fish, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003C\/div\u003E\n","dialogOptions":{"width":"90%","dialogClass":"instructor-modal kaf-modal","modal":true,"title":"Lasheeda Perry"}}]
